The resurrection turned the “disciples’ lives” up-side down!

I. It was time for PRAYER . {1-7}

A. Peter & John went to the temple . . .
B. They met a lame beggar on the way . . .
C. An open-ended request–with a n exchange of “attention!”

1. “Help me!” 2. “Look at us!” 3. “You’ve got my attention!”

D. An UNFULFILLED expectation . . .

II. Suddenly, it was time for PRAISE . {8-10}

A. Walking, leaping, & praising God!
B. Everyone was filled with wonder & amazement . . .
C. An UNEXPECTED fulfillment . . .

III. It was time for PRESENTING the Truth. {11-26}

A. “Why . . . amaze & gaze?”
B. The One Whom you delivered & disowned in front of Pilate . . .
C. But you disowned the Holy and Righteous One . . .
D. An UNPREDICTABLE “exchange” . . .
–you asked for a murderer to be released
E. –and you killed the Author of Life,
Whom God raised from the dead.
F. And His Name has made this man strong by faith in His name.
G. Therefore, recognize this opportunity . . .

1. REPENT & RETURN
2. --desiring times of REFRESHING
3. --and be prepared for a period of RESTORATIO

Applying the Truth
--1-- We need to be ready for ministry opportunities at all times.
“in season & out of season”
--2--We need to make the most of every opportunity.
--3--We need to know & understand the truth of the Gospel.
