‘One Month To Live’… That phrase can stir a whole range of emotions, depending on the context of the statement. ICEBREAKER
If you were told by the Doctor that you had only one month to live, what would be your first thoughts? What would be the first thing you would do? Have you ever know of someone who had this happen to them. How did they respond to the news?

SCRIPTURE REVIEW
Review the following scriptures, discussing what they mean… what they mean to you… and how they should impact our lives
“How do you know what will happen tomorrow? For your life is like the morning fog—it's here a little while, then it's gone.” James 4:14
“Teach us to make the most of our time, so that we may grow in wisdom.” Psalm 90:12
“… we hear that some of you are living idle lives, refusing to work and wasting time meddling in other people's business. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, we appeal to such people—no, we command them: Settle down and get to work. Earn your own living. And I say to the rest of you, dear brothers and sisters, never get tired of doing good.” 2 Thess 3:11-13
“And why worry about the speck in your friend’s eye when you have a log in your own? How can you think of saying, ‘Let me help you get rid of that speck in your eye,’ when you can’t see past the log in your own eye?” Matt 7:3-4
“Dear children, let us stop just saying we love each other; let us really show it by our actions.” 1 John 3:18
“You must make allowance for each other’s faults and forgive the person who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you so you must forgive others.” Colossians 3:13
“Anyone who listens to My teaching and obeys Me is wise, like a person who builds a house on solid rock. Though the rain comes in torrents and the floodwaters rise and the winds beat against that house, it won’t collapse, because it is built on rock. But anyone who hears My teaching and ignores it is foolish, like a person who builds a house on sand. When the rains and floods come and the winds beat against that house, it will fall with a mighty crash.” Matthew 7:24-27
“I pray that you will begin to understand the incredible greatness of His power for us who believe Him. This is the same mighty power that raised Christ from the dead and seated Him in the place of honor at God's right hand in the heavenly realms.” Eph 1:19-20
