Chapt 8 “A Breakfast of Champions”

1. Does God punish people? Does He ever get mad at us?
2. Mack asked……”Isn’t one of you more the boss than the other?” What do you think?

• “Authority is merely the excuse the strong ones use to make others conform to what they want.” “We aren’t asking you to have a relationship with others…..we ask you to have a relationship with us.” Give examples where our world would be a better place if only we didn’t think in this matter.

Chapt 9 “A Long Time Ago in a Garden Far, Far Away”

1. Sarayu takes Mack to the garden and puts him to work. The garden appears to be a mess however, Sarayu thinks it is beautiful. Why? What is it that she is trying to make Mack see?
2. What do you think is the secret to understanding the “tree of knowledge of good and evil”? How do you determine whether something is good or evil?

Chapt 10 “Wade in the Water”

1. Past, Present, Future………..Where do you spend your time?
2. Is imagination a good thing? Why?
3. Could you walk on water?
4. “Women turned away from God to other relationships.”
“Men turned away from God to quest for power, security, and significance.”
Before the “fall” what had God purposed for man and woman? Is it too late to change?
5. Jesus said, “My life was not meant to be an example to copy.”
What was His life meant for?
