I. THE STAGE OF PREPARATION

A. Principle of Supplication
‘He that trusteth in his own heart is a fool: but whoso walketh wisely, he shall be delivered.’ Proverbs 28:26
‘For the Lord giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.’ Proverbs 2:6
*IE.. Don’t Rest In Your Own Wisdom—Go To God In Prayer!
‘If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. James 1:5
‘Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.’ Philippians 4:6

B. Principle of Information
‘Every prudent man dealeth with knowledge: but a fool layeth open his folly.’ Proverbs 13:16

C. Principle of Consultation
‘For by wise counsel thou shalt make war: and in multitude of counselors there is safety.’ Proverbs 24:6
‘Where no counsel is, the people fall: but in the multitude of counselors there is safety.’ Proverbs 11:14
‘Without counsel purposes are disappointed: but in the multitude of counselors they are established.’ Proverbs 15:22

A. Principle of Destination
